The annual Portland Hunters tournament was held on the 31st of July 2010. With some of the best quality of Touch ever seen on US soil, the mighty Portland Hunters represented at their home tournament with 2 teams in each semi final. One Portland were able to get by Galaxy San Diego in one semi final with the other team running into the visiting New Zealand Academy. The New Zealand Academy proved to strong for both Portland sides and came away as 2010 champions.

USA Touch would like to thank the Portland Hunters for this memorable event. A special thanks goes out to the New Zealand Academy for making this such a strong competition. It was also a great learning experience with Mr Touch himself, Peter Walters, passing on knowledge to anyone who would take it. Thanks to all the teams that made the trek to Portland.
